Stout defense and territorial pressure gave the Wolverines a deserved 18-0 victory over the visiting Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. A 79th minute try by Christian Mentzer gave Michigan a 30-28 come from behind victory over the visiting varsity Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals. This month’s Player of the Month is 5th year Christian Mentzer. Mentzer joined the team in 2012 after transferring from Western Michigan Universiy.
