Michigan Rugby Up for a Handful of U of M Awards

Michigan Rugby has been nominated for a handful of awards from the 2011-2012 school year.

The team is a finalist for the Outstanding Club Sport Award as part of the 2012 Michigan Difference Student Leadership Awards. These awards cover 24 different categories from across the University of Michigan. The awards are tonight in the Michigan Union Rogel Ballroom from 6-9pm.

The club is also up for the Outstanding Team Sportsmanship Award and the Outstanding Community Service Award as part of the 2012 U of M Club Sports Honors Ceremony. Also up for individual awards are senior Grady Bridges and freshman Joel Conzelmann for Outstanding Male Athlete and senior Andrew Swain for the Janet K. Wells Outstanding Club Sports Leadership Award. The ceremony will be in the Junge Champions Center on April 9th at 8PM.
