Why did you decide to play rugby?
My brother played before me here at U of M and I though itd be a sweet way to compete, get to know some guys and to stay in shape and recover from tearing my ACL during my senior year of high school.

What have you liked about Michigan Rugby so far?
I really like our Michigan Rugby community. The guys make for a great atmosphere and family at school. But by far tour has been one of my favorite memories and traveling with the team. I also have been currently meeting up with teammates in Europe this summer. The community is awesome.

Describe your most memorable moment on the pitch.
In high school during our state semi-finals I was able to break though the front and kick over the full back to myself to score a try. That was awesome.

What’s your most favorite rugby drill in practice? Least favorite?
Aussie Rules warm up : Nerds v. Jocks.

My least favorite drill has got to be whenever we wrestle for conditioning then either run for lose, or go against another winner. It sucks, pretty fun though.

What other sports have you played?
I played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track during high school.
Soccer as a little kid and wrestled a little bit too.

What do you see yourself doing in five years?
I really wanna be involved in the community in Detroit. I see myself trying to open a small business or two, renovating a place, and/or having a stable job doing something that involves engineering. I really want to try to see how I can become a memeber of the Ford team that is renovating Corktown in Detroit. That’d be the dream.

What is an embarrassing childhood memory that you can share with us?
One I proably should have gone to speech class as kid, my th’s are terriable. Ive got a “Big Brover” and Killer Cam does his best to point it out.

Two up until Kindergarten I was know as “Nakey Boy” in my subdivision, because our house was in the entrance of the subdivision and I would alway be out there with no clothes on in the drive way.

Theres much but, finally up until first grade I was still using a pacifier so my like the Tooth Fairy ad to come up with the Bubba Fairy so I would put my Bubba underneath my pillow to get some money to stop using my bubba. The worse part was I was old enough to even tooth fairy wasnt really, but I was still sucking on my pacifier..

What is your favorite place in Ann Arbor?
My favorite place in Ann Arbor has to be Brandonmore Park [spelled that totally wrong] but yeah I love the Huron River on a nice sunny day.

What is your biggest fear?
Boat propellers and getting run over by a subway train, that stuff scares me so much.

What is your favorite food?
Easy… Bread

Do you have any game-day superstitions? Explain.
I havent developed any in Rugby yet, but I have had some before.

Who is you favorite superhero and why?
Spider-Man is my favorite superhero. Ive always loved the movies and the comics. I bought web swingers as kid, and would lay on the ground and pretend like I was walking on the ceiling.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
Just make the best of each day and recognize what you cannot control. Some things are just outta your hands, but its up to you to decide how you will react to the situation.
