Why did you decide to play rugby?
I played hockey in high school and knew that I wanted to continue playing a sport here at Michigan, but didn’t want to have to keep my hockey bag on campus. My parents recommended I played rugby because my dad played for the Michigan team when he went here so I’ve been playing since the beginning of freshman year.

What have you liked about Michigan Rugby so far?
I’ve really liked the team atmosphere and all of the friends I’ve made on the team.

Describe your most memorable moment on the pitch.
My most memorable moment was last year scoring my first try at Olde Boys weekend in one of my first games.

What’s your most favorite rugby drill in practice? Least favorite?
My favorite rugby drill is sideline tracking and tackling. Least favorite is the Bronco.

What other sports have you played?
I played hockey and soccer in high school.

What do you see yourself doing in five years?
I have no idea

What is an embarrassing childhood memory that you can share with us?
I burnt my hand five times in two weeks when I was little from putting my hand on the grill, stovetop, and a rice cooker without learning to stop burning my hand.

What is your favorite place in Ann Arbor?
Mr. Spots

What is your biggest fear?
Clowns

What is your favorite food?
Spaghetti with basil and tomatoes that my mom makes

Do you have any game-day superstitions? Explain.
I’ve never had any game-day superstitions. I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.

Who is you favorite superhero and why?
Deadpool because he doesn’t act like a superhero, but just as a normal person

What is the best advice you have ever received?
If you don’t know what you’re doing, do it at full speed.
