This year’s Intrasquad Tournament kicked off with a bench-press competition and timed crossword puzzle. For each competition, points are given on a rank-basis. If a team finishes 1st for a given competition, they receive 10 points, 2nd place earns 7 points, 3rd place earns 5 points, 4th place earns 3 points, 5th place earns 2 points, and sixth place earns 1 point.

This week, Bennies finished 1st with the Bench Press competition. Some notable players include Thomas Majure, who benched 135 pounds for 37 reps, Nick Campbell for 24, and Ethan Kaminski for 39. Sues came in a close second, with Braden Loughnane for 33 reps, Brett Silber with the highest for 41, and George Janke for 26.

Further, with the crossword puzzle done for time, Andrew Backer hit an astounding 40 seconds for Jones, which catapulted them to third place.
