After a hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the Battle for the Mitten is back for the first time since 2019. Michigan State Men’s Rugby and the Lansing Lugnuts minor league baseball team partner to run the annual game, and it is played at the Lugnuts’ Jackson Field in Lansing, Michigan.
This year, the Battle for the Mitten is on Friday, October 28. Doors open at 6pm, and the match between the teams’ first sides kicks off at 7pm. The winner of the game will clinch third in the Big Ten East Division.
