Why did you decide to play rugby?
I tried out because I saw the older guys playing during break and thought they looked super cool when I was 12 years old and I’ve fallen in love with the sport and have played it ever since
What have you liked about Michigan Rugby so far?
The camaraderie here truly reflects what rugby is all about. The players have an unreal dedication to the sport and to one another. I really admire that
Describe your most memorable moment on the field.
Probably when I made a good line break and almost scored my first try for Michigan only to drop the ball on my own short of the try line.
What’s your most favorite rugby drill in practice? Least favorite?
Favourite is 1:1 contact drills when I’m on defense.
Least favourite are all the conditioning drills.
What do you see yourself doing in five years?
If all goes right I see myself having enough experience to become a founder of my own startup.
What is an embarrassing childhood memory that you can share with us?
I got the police called on me when I was six for taking a sip of multiple juices at the store when I was four.
Do you have any game-day superstitions? Explain.
We always used to drink this one brand of ice tea in Vienna called Clever Ice tea because we believed it would give us superpowers.
What is your favorite place in Ann Arbor?
Law Quad. Great place to chill when it’s sunny
What is your biggest fear?
I hate dealing with insects. Especially when they can fly
What is your favorite food?
Sushi
Who’s your favorite superhero?
The Hulk
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Cheek to cheek and lower man wins.
