As we have for the past several years, Michigan Rugby is participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s this fall. Alzheimer’s is the sixth-most-common cause of death in the United States, and affects more than five million Americans.
July Alumnus of the Month: Brian Browne
Brian was Michigan Rugby’s original vice president, and played in the club’s first game all the way back in 1959.
SISU™ Mouthguard July Player of the Month: Conor Egan
Conor Egan is our Player of the Month. Conor is 5’10”, 152 lb wing and is going into his junior year. He’s a major contributor both on the field and as a club officer.
June Alumnus of the Month: Keith Stone
Keith was a prop and hooker for the club from 1974 to 1989. He played for the Michigan select side in the Midwestern Select Cup. In the ’90s, he started the high school rugby team in Brighton, MI and coached it for about two decades.

Fall 2020 Schedule Almost Set
Michigan Rugby has almost finalized its game schedule for this fall. The Wolverines currently have a nine game slate including five Big Ten matchups, three non-conference matchups, and one game at the Big Ten Championships in November.
